Many rare trees & shrubs can be found in this treasure trove garden. Along the way you will see plants you’ve never seen before, such as the Tortoiseshell Bamboo with fascinating twisty stems & the rare Canton Water Pine, & the Mexican Magnolia with leaves as big as a Mexican hat.
You can enjoy the bird song as the garden has become a haven for native & exotic birds including Bellbirds, Tui, Pigeons & rare Grey Ducks. The large pond where they live is a major feature of the garden.
