Landscape Design Project

You will think your eyes are playing tricks on you! A lush tapestry of plants growing vertically up the side of an inner city New Plymouth building!

This year director & designer of Vertical Plantscapes, Tracey Peryman brings us a ‘Living Wall’. Also called Green Walls, or Vertical Gardens these horticultural marvels have vegetation that grow directly onto a building’s façade. It will be the first exterior commercial vertical garden of this type in New Zealand.

Tracey Peryman, has a strong design background within architectural disciplines. She is determined to keep abreast of cutting edge developments worldwide in this exciting environmentally focused arena & is excited to bring them to New Zealand.

Look out for the Vertical Garden on the Brougham Street façade of the TAFT festival office building.

Landscape Design Project Launch

Every festival the Landscape Design Project takes a unique approach. This year we are using a soil-based modular system to form a Vertical Garden. It is a very user friendly system that allows you to change the panels; which are made from the most environmental plastic & are fully recyclable.

Vertical Plantscapes has embraced the challenges of the harsh landscaping found increasingly in urban areas & today’s shortage of soft landscaping by providing stunning vertical planting solutions.

The project will be launched at the TAFT festival office building & we invite you to come & join us to hear an interesting presentation by Tracey Peryman of Vertical Plantscapes on how the concept was developed.Don’t miss the unveiling & a chance to mix & mingle prior to the talk.
